Sound bath
What is a sound bath?
A sound experience enhanced with traditional and professional quality therapeutic sound bowls and other sound therapy instruments.
What is a sound bath for?
It activates the body's self-healing system. The body and each of our organs has a harmonic, healthy vibration, a specific frequency that is necessary for its proper functioning. Throughout our lives we are affected by many different influences. From the noise of public transport, to the intrusion of harmful substances in the street, to stress, which shift this harmonic vibration.
Sound bowls can bring repressed emotions to the surface - relaxing, soothing. And by harmonising the emotions, the body becomes healthier.
During a sound bowl session, our immune system is activated, stimulating the body's self-healing processes. The subtle vibration of the bowls relaxes tired, strained and tense muscles, thus affecting the body's circulatory and metabolic processes.
It also helps in the treatment of stress-related illnesses, anxiety, psychosomatic illnesses and mental and physical exhaustion, and even post-operative recovery.
The healing effects of the sound bowls are proven and undeniable, but it is also important that the person being treated is receptive to these alternative treatments.
